Jiffy is a home maintenance app founded in Toronto in 2015 that lets homeowners book a vetted pro at a pre-determined rate instead of collecting quotes. Intact Financial Corporation acquired Jiffy in 2024, and BetaKit reported that Jiffy keeps its own brand as an Intact division. For tradespeople, Jiffy says it sends firm jobs and handles payment, invoicing and customer service, making it a booking channel rather than a quote-request directory.

Canada note
At the time of the Intact deal, BetaKit reported Jiffy served the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa and Calgary; an April 2025 trade-press report said it planned to expand to Vancouver and Edmonton. Jiffy's February 2024 release listed more than 40 home services, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and roofing.
TrustedPros
Tier A · ListedToronto contractor directory and referral service, in business since 2004 and separate from Angi's HomeStars
TrustedPros is a Canadian contractor directory and referral service run by TrustedPros Inc of Toronto, which its BBB profile says started in 2004. It is not among the home services businesses that Angi Inc. lists in its 2025 annual report, which name HomeStars as Angi's Canadian marketplace. TrustedPros' website blocks automated reads, so its current services and prices were not confirmed this run.

Canada note
TrustedPros Inc is based at 111 Peter St in Toronto, according to its BBB profile, which shows no accreditation and no complaints closed in the last three years (checked 30 September 2026). Angi Inc.'s 2025 annual report names HomeStars, not TrustedPros, as its Canadian marketplace, so TrustedPros is a separate option for contractors who want to avoid the Angi group.
