Editorial policies
These are the explicit rules we follow when handling inbound. Publishing them means you can hold us accountable to them.
We correct verified factual errors within 48 hours. Corrections get a dated note on the affected page, not silent edits. If you have published a price change and our page still shows the old number, email hello@ with the URL and the new figure.
If you believe your product ranks lower than the WrenchStack Score formula should produce, send a detailed argument citing specific factor inputs (vertical fit, user ratings, pricing transparency, feature depth, integration coverage). We respond on the merits, not the sales pressure.
We do not remove tools from the directory at vendor request. We do correct factual errors. If you want your product removed from comparison pages and best-of lists, you would need to demonstrate the listing materially misrepresents the product after we have already attempted correction.
We accept off-record context from vendors — pricing changes coming in 60 days, roadmap items, customer-base claims. We do not promise to publish or omit anything based on off-record briefings. The on-record published version of the truth is what readers see.
