Collsoft Payroll is desktop payroll software for Irish employers and payroll bureaus, made by CollSoft Limited of Navan, Co. Meath. It is licensed per tax year by number of employers, with unlimited employees and all features in every edition. CollSoft says it has been developing software for nearly 30 years; the current release is Payroll 2026. It is payroll only and exports journals to accounting packages such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage 50 and Twinfield.

Built for Irish PAYE: it fetches RPNs, files Payroll Submissions (PSRs) to Revenue, reports Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR) payments, downloads My Future Fund auto-enrolment notices (AEPNs) and makes auto-enrolment submissions. It also produces SEPA payment files and CWPS (Construction Workers Pension Scheme) contribution CSV files.

Thesaurus Payroll Manager is Windows desktop payroll software for Irish employers and payroll bureaus, sold by Thesaurus Software Ltd, trading as Bright Software Group, in Duleek, Co. Meath. Thesaurus Software started in the early 1990s, and the same group now also sells BrightPay. It is payroll-only, with an optional paid Thesaurus Connect add-on for cloud backup and a web self-service dashboard for employees or clients.
