MyBuilder.ie vs Tradesman.ie
Two Ireland lead generation options, compared side by side for Ireland trades.
Which should you choose?
MyBuilder.ie is Tier S: our check found its prices published on its own website. Tradesman.ie is Tier A. Compare the typical pricing shown for each below. The tier is not a quality ranking: weigh the pros, cons, pricing and Ireland-specific notes below against your trade and region.
MyBuilder.ie
Tier S · Published pricesIrish job site where homeowners post work free and tradespeople pay a subscription to find jobs
MyBuilder.ie is a homeowner-to-tradesperson job site covering Ireland by trade and county. Homeowners post jobs for free; tradespeople need a paid Pro subscription, with an optional Elite Pro add-on for more visibility. The site also sells website and profile packages to tradespeople. It describes itself as one channel alongside referrals and local search, not a promise of work.
Pros
- + Homeowners post jobs for free
- + Published subscription prices, monthly or annual
- + Directory by trade and county across Ireland
- + Optional add-ons (Elite Pro, websites) are priced on the site
Cons
- − Subscription is paid whether or not you win work; the site says it does not guarantee leads
- − Operator not named on the site's readable pages
- − Prices do not state whether VAT is included
Ireland note
Ireland-only site with county-based service areas and Irish cost guides. None of the site's readable pages names the company that runs it or any link to MyBuilder UK (mybuilder.com), so treat it as a separate Irish site.
Tradesman.ie
Tier A · ListedIrish .ie trades website listed as a lead source; its service model and prices could not be confirmed
Tradesman.ie is an Irish website listed here as a possible source of work for tradespeople. The .ie registry shows the domain is held by Leinster Facility Services Limited and was registered in April 2016. Its pages blocked automated access during our 30 September 2026 check, so how it works, what it charges and any figures it publishes could not be confirmed.
Pros
- + Irish .ie website
- + One more channel to compare with other Irish lead sites
- + Domain registered since 2016, according to the .ie registry
Cons
- − How it works and what it charges could not be confirmed
- − No published figures could be checked
- − Easy to confuse with the separate Tradesmen.ie site
Ireland note
Tradesman.ie (singular) is a different site from Tradesmen.ie, which has its own entry. Before paying for membership or leads, check on the site how jobs reach tradespeople, whether several tradespeople quote for the same job, and what it costs.
