Autodesk's construction platform, now sold as Autodesk Forma

Autodesk moved Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) into its Autodesk Forma brand on 24 March 2026 and renamed the products, for example Forma Build, Forma Data Management, Forma Takeoff and Forma Estimate. Autodesk sells them in three quote-based bundles, Model Management, Preconstruction and Construction Operations, which also include Navisworks Manage, BuildingConnected Pro, ProEst and Pype tools.

Oman note

Most useful where a project team works from BIM models and shares drawings across companies. Ask Autodesk who resells and supports Forma in Oman before you buy, and keep Oman VAT invoicing in your accounting system.

ClearTax (Fawtara e-invoicing)

OTA-accredited Fawtara e-invoicing service provider (per ClearTax)

ClearTax, a product of Defmacro Software Pvt. Ltd., sells an e-invoicing platform for Oman's Fawtara system and says it is an OTA-accredited service provider and a Peppol-registered platform; FF News and TechAfrica reported the Oman Tax Authority accreditation in July 2026. It validates invoices against the PINT OM specification and connects to ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Xero and QuickBooks. It is a compliance layer on top of your accounting system, not accounting software.

Oman note

Oman is phasing in mandatory e-invoicing (Fawtara) through accredited service providers. ClearTax's page lists a pilot for the top 100 taxpayers from August 2026, businesses with annual supplies of OMR 5 million or more from April 2027 and the rest from October 2027; the Oman Tax Authority's FAQ gives different phase dates, so check your own start date with the OTA.
