ClearTax, a product of Defmacro Software Pvt. Ltd., sells an e-invoicing platform for Oman's Fawtara system and says it is an OTA-accredited service provider and a Peppol-registered platform; FF News and TechAfrica reported the Oman Tax Authority accreditation in July 2026. It validates invoices against the PINT OM specification and connects to ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Xero and QuickBooks. It is a compliance layer on top of your accounting system, not accounting software.

Oman note

Oman is phasing in mandatory e-invoicing (Fawtara) through accredited service providers. ClearTax's page lists a pilot for the top 100 taxpayers from August 2026, businesses with annual supplies of OMR 5 million or more from April 2027 and the rest from October 2027; the Oman Tax Authority's FAQ gives different phase dates, so check your own start date with the OTA. ePROMIS

Construction and project ERP with an Oman-facing site

ePROMIS Solutions sells ERP software, including ePROMIS Construction Cloud with project management, design coordination, accounting, procurement, asset management and HR modules. It runs an Oman page aimed at contractors, but lists no Oman office address and no named Oman customer on the pages read. ePROMIS says it was established in 1981 and has over 3,000 customers worldwide.

Oman note

ePROMIS has an Oman page aimed at contractors, but its site lists no Oman office or Oman VAT and e-invoicing details. Ask for Oman customer references, local support arrangements and its Fawtara plan before shortlisting it.
