ClearTax, a product of Defmacro Software Pvt. Ltd., sells an e-invoicing platform for Oman's Fawtara system and says it is an OTA-accredited service provider and a Peppol-registered platform; FF News and TechAfrica reported the Oman Tax Authority accreditation in July 2026. It validates invoices against the PINT OM specification and connects to ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Xero and QuickBooks. It is a compliance layer on top of your accounting system, not accounting software.

Oman note

Oman is phasing in mandatory e-invoicing (Fawtara) through accredited service providers. ClearTax's page lists a pilot for the top 100 taxpayers from August 2026, businesses with annual supplies of OMR 5 million or more from April 2027 and the rest from October 2027; the Oman Tax Authority's FAQ gives different phase dates, so check your own start date with the OTA. Grey ERP

Muscat-based cloud ERP with tendering and a subcontractor portal

Grey ERP is a cloud ERP with a Muscat address in Ghala Heights, linked to the Omani IT company Rawat Al Makan, which also implements Zoho, Odoo and TallyPrime. Its contracting edition lists tendering, contract and project scheduling, automated billing with progress tracking, work orders and a vendor and subcontractor portal. Grey ERP publishes no prices.

Oman note

Grey ERP is run from Muscat (Ghala Heights), so support is local, and its contracting edition covers tendering, progress billing and a subcontractor portal. Its site mentions VAT compliance but not Fawtara e-invoicing, so ask how it will connect to the Oman Tax Authority's system.
