Onyx Pro ERP is produced by Yemensoft (established 1993) and its affiliate Ultimate Solutions, and covers accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, HR and payroll, fixed assets and a projects and progress-claims solution. Its Oman company, Ultimate Solutions for Technology LLC, has an office at Knowledge Oasis Muscat, and it lists a dealer in Salalah. Onyx says the system runs in Arabic, English, Turkish, French and German.

Oman note

Onyx has an Oman company with an office at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (phone 24170079) and a dealer in Salalah, so local support is available to ask about. Its site does not describe Oman VAT returns or Fawtara e-invoicing, so ask for a demo of both before buying.

TallyPrime

Accounting and inventory software, sold in Oman through a Muscat dealer

TallyPrime from Tally Solutions is accounting, inventory and invoicing software, sold as Silver for a single user and Gold for multiple users on monthly, yearly or lifetime licences; Tally says 2.7M+ businesses use it. Its Middle East site covers UAE and Saudi VAT only, but Times of Oman reported a VAT-ready release for Oman in March 2021. The Muscat dealer behind tally-oman.com, Rawat Al Makan, says it configures Oman VAT invoicing and returns.

− No Oman page or OMR prices on Tally's own site

− Rental plans renew automatically until cancelled

Oman note

If your books already live in Tally, the Muscat dealer says it configures Oman VAT invoicing and VAT return reports. Tally's own Middle East site does not mention Oman or Fawtara, so ask the dealer how Tally will connect to Oman's e-invoicing system before your phase starts.

Typical Oman pricing: Quote-based in Oman: the Muscat dealer asks buyers to contact it for OMR prices. Tally sells TallyPrime Silver (single user) and Gold (multi-user) on 1-month, 3-month, 12-month and lifetime plans; its Middle East buy page says plans start at AED 78 but lists plan prices only in Indian rupees, with no OMR amounts.
