Two Oman software options, compared side by side for Oman trades.

Which should you choose?

Oracle Aconex and Procore are both Tier A. Compare the typical pricing shown for each below. The tier is not a quality ranking: weigh the pros, cons, pricing and Oman-specific notes below against your trade and region.

Oracle Aconex

Tier A ยท Listed

Oracle's cloud document control and project collaboration platform

Oracle Aconex is a cloud platform where every party on a project shares documents, formal correspondence (Mail) and review workflows in one auditable record; Oracle announced its purchase of Aconex in December 2017. Oracle's Aconex status page lists a Middle East (MEA) instance and a separate Saudi Arabia (KSA1) instance. Oracle announced new Aconex capabilities in April 2026.

Pros

  • + Documents, Mail and approval workflows in one shared project record
  • + Middle East (MEA) and Saudi (KSA1) instances listed by Oracle
  • + Oracle Aconex Mobile app for site teams
  • + Still developed: new capabilities announced in April 2026

Cons

  • โˆ’ No public prices: quote from Oracle
  • โˆ’ No Oman reseller or Oman project reference confirmed in this check
  • โˆ’ Built for multi-party projects, more than a small contractor needs
  • โˆ’ Support Central help is not offered in Arabic

Oman note

Aconex suits main contractors, consultants and clients who need one shared record of documents and correspondence across many companies. It does not keep VAT records or issue tax invoices, so pair it with an accounting system that handles Oman VAT.

Typical Oman pricing: Quote-based; no public price list found.

Procore

Procore Technologies (NYSE: PCOR) sells a construction platform covering project management, quality and safety, financial management and Procore AI. It opened its first MENA office in Dubai Internet City in September 2022 and runs a UAE English site with a Dubai phone line; no Oman office, reseller or named Oman customer was found. Every contract includes unlimited users and data storage, per Procore.

Pros

  • + Unlimited users and data storage in every contract (per Procore)
  • + Project management, quality and safety, and financial tools on one platform
  • + 500+ out-of-the-box integrations (per Procore)
  • + 24/7 support, implementation and training included in the contract (per Procore)

Cons

  • โˆ’ No public prices: annual fee per product based on turnover
  • โˆ’ No Oman office, reseller or named Oman customer found
  • โˆ’ UAE site is English only, with no Arabic option
  • โˆ’ Not an accounting system: Oman VAT records stay elsewhere

Oman note

Procore's nearest listed office is in Dubai and its regional site is the UAE one. For an Oman project, ask Procore who will implement and support it locally before committing, and keep Oman VAT invoicing in your accounting system.

Typical Oman pricing: Quote-based; no public prices. Procore's UAE pricing page says the fee depends on the products you need and your annual turnover, with unlimited users and data storage included.
