NiceJob's owner since 2021, Paystone, entered court-supervised creditor protection in Canada in June 2026. On August 27, 2026 the Ontario Superior Court of Justice approved a sale of the business and assets of Paystone and related companies to 1001632600 Ontario Inc., a company controlled by Paystone's principals, and the court-appointed monitor reported on September 15, 2026 that closing was still pending, with the outside date moved to October 16, 2026. The monitor's reports describe a reputation-marketing software business line but do not name NiceJob, and Paystone told BetaKit it remained fully operational during the proceedings.

NiceJob is review and reputation-marketing software for small service businesses. It began as a Vancouver startup, was acquired in October 2021 by Paystone, a Canadian payments company, and its website now lists NiceJob Inc. at Paystone's London, Ontario address, with its privacy and careers pages hosted on paystone.com. NiceJob says it has served 50K+ businesses across home services, auto and moving, beauty and wellness, and professional services.
The product is built around review requests. The Starter plan ($75/mo) sends review requests by SMS and email, shows your reviews in website widgets, shares them to social media, and adds a team leaderboard and a reviews microsite. Pro ($125/mo) adds rebooking reminders, referral campaigns, email broadcasts, AI-generated review replies, customer gifts, NPS surveys and competitor monitoring. A managed website (Sites) costs $99/mo plus a $199 setup fee. There is a 14-day free trial and no contract.

How it works
You connect NiceJob to your Google Business Profile and to the software you already use (NiceJob names Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, Square, Stripe, HubSpot and FreshBooks, plus Zapier). When a job is completed or paid, NiceJob sends the customer a review request by SMS and email and guides them to leave a review, then shows those reviews in widgets on your website and shares them to social media. On Pro, it also sends rebooking reminders and referral campaigns, drafts AI replies to reviews, runs NPS surveys and email broadcasts, and monitors competitors.
