About Bluebeam Revu
Bluebeam Revu is PDF software for architecture, engineering and construction teams. Contractors use it to mark up plan sets, compare drawing versions, manage documents and run shared plan reviews in Studio Sessions and Projects. For estimators, Revu measures directly off the plans: length, polylength, perimeter, area, volume, depth, radius, wall area, angle and count, with Dynamic Fill for complex regions and Quantity Link to push measurement totals into Excel.
Bluebeam has been in business since 2002 and has been part of the Nemetschek Group since 2014. It is headquartered in Pasadena, California, with offices in Dallas, Brisbane, Copenhagen, London, Munich and Stockholm. Bluebeam says more than 4 million people in over 160 countries use its software.
All plans are billed annually per user and include Revu for Windows desktop plus Bluebeam on the web and on iOS and Android. Basics ($260 a year) covers PDF creation, editing, markup and length and area measurement. Core ($330) adds perimeter, volume, angle and count measurement, drawing overlay and CAD plug-ins. Complete ($440) adds Dynamic Fill, Excel Quantity Link, advanced reporting and batch tools. Bluebeam lists integrations with Procore, SharePoint, ProjectWise, Newforma and Autodesk Forma, and one-click PDF creation from AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks and Navisworks.
