About CompanyCam
CompanyCam is a photo documentation and communication app for contractors, headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska. Its CEO, Luke, worked at the Hansen family roofing business, and when he could not find a tool that solved their photo problems, the Hansens built their own app.
It fills a gap that FSM photo features often leave: every photo is location- and time-stamped and filed into a project, with annotations, comments, tags, documents and customer-facing galleries. AI features come with credits (10 on Core, 100 on Crew and unlimited on Scale, per the pricing page's Total AI Credits row), and CompanyCam advertises unlimited cloud-based storage.
Pricing is per plan with included seats: Core at $63/month billed annually (1 user included, 2-user limit), Crew at $129/month (3 users) and Scale at $199/month (3 users), with additional users at $29 each and custom Enterprise pricing for 50+ users; the pricing page says annual billing saves 20%. CompanyCam offers a free trial; its restoration industry page says 14 days with no credit card required.
Integrations include ServiceTitan, JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Jobber, JobTread, SumoQuote, QuickBooks Online and Zapier, so photos can flow into the job record in your main system. CompanyCam sits alongside your FSM rather than replacing it.
The trade-off: CompanyCam is photo-only, not a full FSM, so it is an extra subscription. It pays off where photo evidence matters: roofing, insurance restoration and general contracting, and anywhere disputes or warranty claims turn on what the job looked like.

It depends on how much your work relies on photo evidence. It suits work where photos settle claims, disputes and warranty questions or feed marketing portfolios, such as roofing, insurance restoration and general contracting. For HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops that take few photos, the photo tools in their FSM may be enough. Use the 14-day free trial on real jobs to judge it.
How does CompanyCam compare to taking photos with my phone's camera?
Native phone photos lack: GPS tagging tied to a specific project, automatic organization into project galleries, annotations and comments tied to specific images, structured before/after pairing, AI content tagging, customer-facing galleries, and integration with your FSM. CompanyCam is essentially the office discipline layer on top of phone photos: same photos, but searchable, organized, and tied to business records.
Does CompanyCam integrate with ServiceTitan?
Yes. During setup you choose whether dispatched or scheduled ServiceTitan jobs create a project in CompanyCam, and photos, videos and files from the project sync back to ServiceTitan. When the job is finished you have the option to archive the project.
Can CompanyCam handle drone footage?
You can upload photos and videos from drones through the app or the web interface into the same project gallery. Location tagging depends on the drone writing GPS data into its files, so test it with your own drone before relying on it.
