About JobTread
JobTread is construction management software for builders and contractors, based in Dallas. Eric Fortenberry is its Founder and CEO, and its About page says the first version of the product was created in 2018. It is built for home builders, remodelers, pool builders, outdoor living contractors, roofers, specialty contractors, commercial contractors and franchises.
It covers estimating, job costing, scheduling, change orders, purchase orders, vendor management, selections and client and vendor portals in one system, and every feature comes at one price.
Pricing is a base of $159 a month billed annually ($1,908 a year) or $199 billed monthly, including one internal user, and the pricing page says an annual subscription saves 20%; each additional internal user costs $16 a month on annual billing or $20 monthly for users 2-10, less at higher counts. Customer and vendor portal users are free and unlimited, implementation and support are free, and the pricing page says there is no contract. There is no free trial, but monthly subscriptions carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. JobTread's terms say a subscription renews automatically after its initial term (the order form sets the term), users cannot be reduced during a term, and fees paid are non-refundable unless the terms say otherwise; they do not mention the guarantee, so ask which applies before signing.
Native integrations include QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Plaid, Gusto, Zapier, Slack, CompanyCam, EagleView, Hover and NiceJob, supplier integrations with The Home Depot, SRS Distribution, QXO, PoolCorp and Heritage Pool Supply, and Acorn Finance and HFS Financial for customer financing; Xero connects through a partner integration. QuickBooks Desktop is not on its integrations page, though its implementation guide says to link JobTread to QuickBooks online or desktop.
The trade-off: JobTread is built for construction projects rather than service calls, so HVAC, plumbing and electrical service shops should look at field service tools instead.
