About Bin Boss
Bin Boss is dumpster rental software from Bin Boss Software LLC of Miamisburg, Ohio. The vendor says founder Todd Atkinson, who founded Pack Mule Dumpsters, built it to manage his own fleet of more than 80 dumpsters. The mybinboss.com domain was registered in June 2024, and Apple lists the first release of the iOS app (published under STNS Solutions LLC) as July 30, 2025.
One plan, Bin Boss Complete, costs $99 a month, month-to-month with no contract, and the pricing page lists unlimited admins, office users and drivers. It includes an online booking widget that verifies addresses, prices by service area and mileage, blocks booked inventory, collects e-signed rental agreements and takes full payment, a deposit or pay-on-delivery through Stripe. The widget embeds on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace sites or works as a standalone link. Bookings land on a drag-and-drop dispatch board with a live driver map and per-driver routes that the system sequences automatically, and customers can get SMS or email notifications.
The iPhone and Android driver app shows jobs with placement notes and gate codes, opens Google Maps or Apple Maps for navigation, uploads photos, and handles the dump workflow: drivers pick the site, enter the weight ticket and photograph the dump receipt. Bin Boss then compares the weight to the dumpster's allowance and creates a pending overage charge for review before invoicing. The app also has timesheet clock-in and clock-out. The office side adds inventory by storage lot, invoicing, a client portal, CRM with contractor grouping, discount codes, reporting and data exports, and QuickBooks Online sync of invoices, payments and customers.
The trade-off: the Terms of Service (updated March 30, 2026) add a 0.75% platform fee retained by Bin Boss on top of Stripe's roughly 2.9% + $0.30, and fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in writing. There is no self-serve trial, only a free demo, and the QuickBooks integration covers QuickBooks Online, not Desktop. Bin Boss also sells websites as an add-on: a template site at $40 a month plus a $99 setup fee, or a custom site at $399 one-time plus $40 a month.
