Quick verdict

Bin Boss is best for Small roll-off and hook-lift dumpster companies (roughly 3-50 cans, a few trucks) that want 24/7 online booking with deposits and automatic overage charges, QuickBooks Online sync and a single flat price.. Pricing starts at $99/mo. Strongest fit: Waste & Junk Removal.

About Bin Boss

Bin Boss is a roll-off and hook-lift dumpster management platform from Bin Boss Software LLC in Miamisburg, Ohio. It was built by Todd Atkinson, the veteran founder of Pack Mule Dumpsters, to run his own 80-plus-container fleet, and the company dates to 2024 with iOS and Android apps first published in November 2025. The pitch is one flat $99 per month, month-to-month, covering the whole system: an embeddable online booking flow with service-area checks, rental agreements and Stripe payment (full, deposit or pay-on-delivery), a drag-and-drop dispatch board with live driver map and auto-sequenced per-driver routes, a driver app with navigation, photos, weight-ticket and dump-receipt capture, inventory tracking, invoicing, a client portal, CRM, reporting exports and QuickBooks Online sync. A standout for cash flow is saved-card overage charging: weight overages can be auto-charged to the card on file instead of waiting on landfill tickets. Caveats are real. The Terms of Service add a 0.75% platform fee on top of Stripe's rate, fees are non-refundable, there is no free trial, and the FAQ page still describes a 2-driver cap with $50 per extra driver and a $99 setup fee that the pricing page no longer shows. Bin Boss has no Capterra or G2 listing, its reviews page shows no testimonials, and the Play listing reports 100-plus installs. Solid hauler-built fundamentals, but early.

Pricing

Tier Price Notes
Bin Boss $99/mo Entry tier

One plan at $99/month, billed month-to-month, cancel anytime, no contract. Pricing page states unlimited admins, office users and drivers; the vendor's FAQ page still says 2 drivers included with extra drivers at $50/month each plus a one-time $99 setup fee, so confirm current driver terms on your demo. No free trial, only a free personalized demo. Optional website add-on: template $40/month plus $99 setup, or custom $399 one-time plus $40/month hosting. Card payments run through Stripe at about 2.9% + $0.30 plus a 0.75% platform fee retained by Bin Boss (Terms of Service, updated 2026-03-30); fees are non-refundable. Verified 2026-08-21.

Bin Boss starts at $99/mo on the Bin Boss tier and scales to $99/mo on Bin Boss. The Bin Boss ladder places it in the budget-friendly entry tier segment of the FSM market. At this price point you're getting core scheduling, invoicing, and a mobile app — but expect to upgrade once you need advanced features like dispatch optimization, automated reminders, or recurring-service contracts. No public free trial — demo required to evaluate.

Integrations

Pros

  • + Built and used by a working hauler

The founder runs Pack Mule Dumpsters in Ohio and built the tool for his own 80-plus-container fleet, so the workflow matches how small roll-off shops actually operate.

  • + Online booking that actually collects money

Customers pick size and dates, get address-verified against service areas, sign the rental agreement and pay by card, with deposit or pay-on-delivery options and jobs landing directly on the dispatch board.

  • + Automatic overage charging

Cards are saved on booking and weight overages can be auto-charged, addressing the chase-the-landfill-ticket cash-flow problem common in roll-off.

  • + Flat price with QuickBooks Online included

One $99/month plan with no per-user fees on the pricing page, including QBO sync, client portal, reporting and the driver app, plus month-to-month cancellation.

Cons

  • − Hidden-ish 0.75% platform fee

The Terms of Service disclose a 0.75% platform fee retained by Bin Boss on top of Stripe's roughly 2.9% + $0.30, which the pricing page does not mention. On $20,000 of monthly card volume that is about $150 extra.

  • − Contradictory pricing pages

The pricing page says unlimited drivers and no setup fee; the FAQ page says 2 drivers included, $50/month per additional driver and a $99 setup fee. Get the terms in writing before signing.

  • − Young and unreviewed

Apps have existed since November 2025, the Play listing shows 100-plus installs, there is no Capterra or G2 presence, and the site's own reviews page renders no testimonials.

  • − No trial, roll-off only, limited routing

You must book a demo rather than self-serve a trial, the product does not cover front-load or residential routes, and routing is per-driver sequencing rather than fleet-level optimization.

Implementation timeline

1–3 weeks for a small team

Onboarding is demo-led and vendor-assisted: the team imports existing data, connects Stripe and QuickBooks Online, and trains staff, with the vendor quoting four to five days to go live. Plan to embed the booking widget on your existing WordPress, Wix or Squarespace site or use the hosted booking link; the optional Bin Boss website packages carry separate setup and monthly hosting fees. Confirm driver limits, setup fee and the platform fee in writing given the inconsistent pages.

Best for / Watch out for

Best for

Small roll-off and hook-lift dumpster companies (roughly 3-50 cans, a few trucks) that want 24/7 online booking with deposits and automatic overage charges, QuickBooks Online sync and a single flat price.

Watch out for

Young product (apps live since November 2025) with no independent reviews, a 0.75% platform fee on top of Stripe, no free trial, and pricing pages that contradict each other on driver limits and setup fees. Roll-off only, with per-driver route sequencing rather than true route optimization.
