About iCANS
iCANS is dumpster rental software from iCANS, Inc. of Longwood, Florida. Founder Ricardo Rivera started Junk It Plus Dumpsters in South Florida with a single truck and hired developers to build software for his own operation; the vendor says he still runs that business, now more than 600 dumpsters, while leading iCANS. iCANS says more than 400 dumpster rental companies use it.
The office side is a command center with dispatch: AI-built routes optimized per territory and asset type, drag-and-drop reassignment and live driver locations with ETAs. The iOS and Android driver app shows the day's route, captures photos at each stop, records load states (empty, full, dumped, returned) and customer signatures, and lets drivers flag urgent issues with a photo and timestamp that alerts dispatch. Invoices are generated from completed tasks, card and ACH payments are built in through Tiger Payment Solutions (with Deluxe named as an alternative processor), and a two-way QuickBooks Online sync covers clients, invoices, payments and refunds. A branded customer portal lets commercial accounts book around the clock, pay invoices and overages, track active rentals and request swaps or rescheduled pickups.
