Estimate Rocket is an estimating, CRM and project management platform for service contractors. It was founded in 2015 by Thomas Droste, who is its CTO, and lists its address in Newburyport, Massachusetts. It serves more than 50 trades, including residential painting, roofing, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing and electrical work, and it offers a Franchise Headquarters Package that gives franchisors logins to franchisee accounts and consolidated summary reports of franchisee invoices.
The workflow runs from lead to payment. On the sales side it has estimate and document templates, customizable and interactive proposals with optional add-ons and electronic signatures, automated follow-up campaigns for bookings, proposals and invoices, a client portal with 24/7 access to estimates and invoices, and two-way messaging by text or email. On the job side it has crew and sales scheduling, time and expense tracking from the field, and job costing that compares budget to actuals. Invoices can be paid by credit card or ACH, and reports cover sales, lead pipeline, open receivables, profitability and closing ratios.

Decide who needs a full user and who only needs a $10 field user. Connect accounting early: confirm with Estimate Rocket whether your QuickBooks Online sync runs directly or through Zapier, and use the export if you are on QuickBooks Desktop. Connect CompanyCam if your crews already take job photos there. Because it is a web app without offline access, have crews log in from their phone browsers and test it at a job site with weak signal. If you cancel, do it in Settings, Account Billing, since the Terms say email or phone requests do not count, and export your data first because content may be deleted after cancellation.
