About Pool Brain
Pool Brain is pool service software from Pool Brain LLC, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Its founder and CEO, Adam Beech, previously owned a Phoenix pool company that the vendor says ran more than 35 trucks, and Pool Brain describes itself as a platform for medium to large pool service businesses. It names Keith Zars, Shasta Pools, Riverbend Sandler, Poolie, National Pool Partners and America's Swimming Pool Company (ASP) among its customers; ASP selected it for its franchise locations in December 2024.
The core idea is to catch problems before they turn into complaints. Custom alerts flag issues such as chemical levels, flow, leaks, time on site and costs, while guided workflows and job templates walk techs through each stop. The technician app for iOS and Android calculates chemical doses, handles multiple bodies of water per property, tracks filter and salt cell cleans and equipment, and works without cell signal. Owners get one-click route optimization with drag-and-drop editing, graphs and charts, route profit, technician scorecards and technician pay tools. A January 2026 update added AI-based auto-dosing for chlorine tabs as a beta.
Quotes become jobs and jobs become invoices, with automatic or manual billing, card and ACH autopay with an automatic retry when a card is declined, proof-of-service emails and a self-serve customer portal. Integrations include a two-way QuickBooks Online sync, WaterGuru remote monitoring, LaMotte Spin Touch readings, the Orenda calculator for LSI-based dosing and Heritage Pool Supply for product costs and ordering. Pool Brain also offers API access, and in May 2026 it announced a planned integration with Pentair.

The trade-off: cost follows field headcount, so every tech you add costs another $65 a month regardless of how many pools they service. The alerts and workflows only pay off once they are set up to match your standards, which takes owner time up front. Pool Brain is built for pool service and is not a general field service tool.
