About GorillaDesk
GorillaDesk is field service software for pest control, lawn care, landscaping, tree care, pool service, cleaning and similar route-based home service businesses. The company says it was started by people who ran a pest control and lawn business, and its site says more than 4,500 local service companies use it. We found no announcement that it has been acquired.
Pricing is published and charged per route (schedule), not per office user. Basic is $49 a month, Pro $99 and Growth $149, or $539, $1,089 and $1,639 a year when paid annually. A technician who works solo needs a schedule; a crew that rides together needs one only for its leader. Admin users and mobile devices are unlimited on every plan, plans are month-to-month with no contract or setup fee, and GorillaDesk says its team will import data from another system at no charge. There is a 14-day free trial with no credit card. Text messaging costs extra: $5 a month plus prepaid message packs.
Every plan includes invoices, estimates and work orders, job and customer mapping, basic routing (up to 25 stops on Basic), Stripe and Square payments, broadcast messaging, material tracking and reporting, triggered automations, and automated emails and texts. Pro adds routing with a drive-time matrix, the customer portal, online booking, review requests, documents and e-signatures, device tracking and barcoding, multi-dwelling unit support, commission tracking, QuickBooks Online sync, GPS tracking, email inbox sync, Zapier, open API access and time clocking. Growth adds map-based estimating, dynamic estimates and estimate packages, a sales pipeline, custom fields and job statuses, and multi-branch support.
For pest control, GorillaDesk's pest page lists chemical data and templates, material use reports, device scanning and tracking in the field, and tracking of individual units in multi-unit buildings. Its integrations library lists QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Square, Zapier, Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Maps, Google My Business, Yelp, Waze, Mapbox, SalesRabbit, Weather Underground and Adobe.
The trade-off: the cheapest plan leaves out the customer portal, e-signatures, QuickBooks Online sync and Zapier, so many growing companies will need Pro at $99 per route billed monthly. Every solo technician adds a paid schedule, and the integrations list has no QuickBooks Desktop or payroll connection. Pest companies that want a larger, quote-based platform can compare FieldRoutes or PestPac.

On Pro or Growth, connect QuickBooks Online and set up the customer portal and online booking before inviting customers. Roll out the mobile app to technicians and run a few routes before you switch over fully.
