About CoreJobTrack
CoreJobTrack is field service software from Barrett Software, founded by Steve Barrett in Grand Blanc, Michigan. It is aimed at small and mid-sized blue-collar service businesses with field techs and an office dispatch team; its FAQ names HVAC, plumbing, electrical and contracting. The workflow runs from dispatch to signed completion: the office assigns work, dates and priorities, techs document the job with notes, photos, video and files, and the customer signs on the tech's device or remotely through a browser link.
Its most distinctive feature is equipment history. Each equipment reading is tied to the equipment, the visit, the technician and a timestamp, and CoreJobTrack summarizes count changes over a period as production rates and count-over-time charts. Other listed features include an operations dashboard, personal dashboards, technician statistics and leaderboards, customer and contact records linked to locations and equipment, audit history, and a customer portal where clients see ticket status. The features page also lists quotes and proposals, while the docs list that guide as coming soon.
