About Pool Founder
Pool Founder is pool service software launched in 2025 and based in Kennesaw, Georgia. It was started by Corey Adams, who has more than 15 years of pool route experience starting at DC Pool Services in Kennesaw, and his co-founder Zach, a software developer who was first Corey's pool customer. Pool Founder says it is built for pool service businesses with 1 to 50 technicians, not for other trades, pool builders or retail stores.
The product covers route building and traffic-aware route optimization, recurring and one-time job scheduling, work orders, service reports and quotes. Techs use an iOS and Android app that works offline, logs FC, pH, TA, CYA and salt readings, calculates dose amounts and keeps each pool's chemistry history. Completed work turns into invoices with autopay on saved cards, and payments run through Stripe and ACH with a QuickBooks sync. Owners also get GPS tracking on completed stops, a live technician map, route profitability, team and payroll tracking (clock-in, drive time, time on site, mileage and overtime), a customer texting inbox, reminders and a customer portal. An AI assistant called George answers questions about the business and makes changes such as moving jobs, and AI-assisted import turns spreadsheets into customer records.
Pricing is flat per company, set by the number of technicians: Solo is $49 a month for 1 tech, Team $99 for up to 3, Growth $179 for up to 6, Pro $249 for up to 10, and Enterprise is custom priced for larger teams. Every plan has every feature and unlimited pools, billing is month to month, and there is a 30-day free trial with no credit card. Pool Founder says existing customers keep the price they signed up at, and it offers free data import and route setup.
The trade-off: Pool Founder is new. Its homepage counts about 8,300 completed visits and 33,000 chemistry readings on the platform so far, far fewer than older tools such as Skimmer (launched 2017) or Pool Brain. The price steps up at each technician cap, so adding a fourth tech moves you from $99 to $179 a month. Check that the QuickBooks sync and payment setup fit your books during the trial.
