About Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture)
Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture, and before that iAuditor) is an inspection, safety and frontline operations platform. Luke Anear started the business in 2004 in Townsville, Australia; it is now headquartered in Sydney, and the company says more than 2 million frontline workers across 80,000 organizations use it. SafetyCulture rebranded to Mitti on 11 August 2026; Mitti's developer changelog calls it the same platform and team with a new name, and safetyculture.com now redirects to mitti.com.
For trades, the core is structured inspections: custom checklist templates (plus a public library of ready-made ones), photo evidence with annotations, issue and incident reporting, asset tracking, dashboards and audit-ready records. That makes it useful where OSHA, insurers or customers expect documented inspections, such as commercial property service, facility maintenance or government contracting.
The Free plan covers up to 10 seats with 5 active inspection templates at a time (unlimited inspections), and Mitti says it has no time limit. Premium, at $24 per seat per month billed annually ($29 monthly), adds unlimited seats and active templates, advanced analytics, extended data history, integrations and single sign-on; Enterprise is custom-quoted. Premium comes with a 30-day free trial; when we read Mitti's pricing FAQ on 2026-10-05, it said card details are collected when the trial starts and you are not charged if you return to the Free plan before it ends.
Integrations, available on Premium and Enterprise, include a two-way Salesforce integration built by the partner OpSmooth, Procore, Zapier, Workato, Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate and SharePoint, and file tools such as Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive.
The trade-off: Mitti is not a full FSM. It schedules inspections, but its plans list no job dispatch, quoting or customer invoicing, and shops without formal inspection or compliance requirements usually get enough from the photo and checklist features in their FSM.

Implementation
Setup time depends on how many inspection workflows you build. Mitti's pricing table lists onboarding services and training as not included on Free and as a contact-sales item on Premium and Enterprise. Start from the public template library, adapt the templates to your own workflows, set photo standards, and roll the mobile app out to field staff. If you are replacing paper, the work is mostly habit: make inspections a required step, or uptake stays slow. If you are moving from another inspection tool, expect to rebuild your templates.
